Try Tai Chi for Free

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art, and medicine, that has the potential to rejuvenate the entire body with daily practice. This class will focus primarily on tai chi principles ~ correct body positioning, grounding, chi movement within the body, the importance of meditation and self-massage, and the health benefits gained with daily practice. The class will also include warm-body exercises, qigong breathing, ‘reeling silk’ exercises, and more. This class will be perfect for beginners, and anyone wanting to explore the numerous health benefits of tai chi.

Weather permitting, classes will be held outdoors, so dress appropriately! Please note that while no special clothing is needed for Tai Chi practice, loose fitting clothing is preferred as it does not restrict the flow of chi.

In case of rain or inclement weather, classes will be held indoors, in one of the spacious rooms of the Mansion.

Tea will be served after class ends at 11; students are encouraged to stay and ask questions or socialize, or enjoy the peaceful grounds of Long Branch.
