Give Me Liber-Teas

​Long Branch will host a tea at the house during the Give Me Liberty exhibit period, in which guests can learn about how tea – so loved among colonists, yet taxed as an import by the British – added to the list of grievances against the British and fueled the calls for revolution among colonists.

The house is decorated for Christmas in the Americana Christmas theme.

​

Tea will be served, along with light sandwiches and sweets. Sit and mingle at tea tables setup throughout the house, and learn about Virginia's role in the American Revolution.

The December 16th Tea is on the 252nd anniversary of the Boston Tea Party!
